Sunanda Pushkar's Autopsy Over; Doctor Declares a Case of Sudden & Unnatural Death
The head of the three-member panel of doctors that conducted the autopsy on Pushkar, said, "We have conducted the postmortem inspection... It is a case of sudden, unnatural death" but ruled out poisoning. However, he said the team has preserved certain "biological samples for toxicological analysis as well as visco-pathological examination."
"We have completed the whole procedure. Samples for toxicological analysis means ruling out any poison. Some pathology of the heart has been preserved by us," he said.
Pushkar was found dead in her suite at the hotel and the body was shifted to AIIMS at around 3:30 AM for post-mortem. Police is also probable to record statement of Tharoor, who was admitted to AIIMS following complaints of chest pain and was discharged later.
Pushkar and Tharoor were at the centre of a raging argument when reports emerged that she was upset over reported text and tweet messages between her husband and Mehr Tarar, a Pakistani journalist.
Gupta, who is Head of Forensic Sciences Department at AIIMS, said the autopsy report would focus on investigating from a medical angle the sudden unnatural death.
He said the final autopsy report will be prepared within next couple of days after receiving reports of toxicological analysis and visco-pathological examination.
"After receiving all these reports in the next couple of days, we will finalize the postmortem report and we will give our opinion in the case," he said.
When asked about the injuries on the body, he refused to give details saying as police was working on the case, certain issues cannot be revealed.
"There were certain injuries on the body. I cannot disclose the details of the injury. Basically in medico-legal cases, the number of injuries does not matter. Whether these injuries were related to fatality or not matters," he said.
Asked whether the injury caused death, he refused to give a direct answer.
Pushkar and Tharoor had checked into the hotel on Thursday as their home was being painted.
A joint statement from the couple on Thursday said that they were "happily married" but distressed by "some unauthorised tweets". Pushkar had accused Tarar of "stalking" her husband and trying to "break" her marriage when she was away for medical treatment. She had told a couple of newspapers that she was considering divorce from Tharoor in the wake of the alleged extra-marital affair.
The Pakistani journalist rubbished the charges of having any relationship with Tharoor.

Sunanda Pushkar, Wife of Union minister Shashi Tharoor, Found Dead in Hotel
Sunanda Pushkar, wife of Minister of State for Human Resource Development Shashi Tharoor, was found dead in a luxury hotel Friday night, police said.Sunanda Pushkar, the wife of Union minister Shashi Tharoor, was found dead in suite 345 of Leela Hotel on Friday evening. Her death comes within 48 hours of her going public about her husband's alleged affair with a Pakistani journalist, raising doubts of suicide, although no note has been found.
Her body was reportedly found by Tharoor when he returned to the hotel in the evening after Friday's AICC session. The couple are said to have moved out of the minister's official bungalow as it was being painted. The police were informed by Tharoor's PS Abhinav Kumar.
The tragic end came even as Twitter was still buzzing about the public display of anger, betrayal and accusations involving Tharoor, Sunanda and Pakistani journalist Mehr Tarar. There were also reports of Sunanda talking of divorce, although she ended the talk on Thursday.
The police initially suggested it was suicide. But late at night, the officers were more guarded. Police sources said it could be a "natural or unnatural death". They said all angles were being probed: suicide, poisoning and death due to a sudden heart attack. A forensic team had come to the hotel and a magistrate was called for the interrogation of Tharoor and his PS.
As the marriage was less than seven years old, section 176 of the CrPC kicked in and the police was conducting investigations to rule out any dowry angle. Delhi police will also ask Twitter to give details of direct messages between Sunanda and Tarar.
People who had spoken to Sunanda in the past two days described her as very disturbed and distressed over her husband's relationship with Tarar.
TV anchors with whom she had corresponded on Thursday night said she had spoken about her poor health and depression. Sunanda, who was with Tharoor in Thiruvananthapuram last week, underwent treatment at a private hospital two days ago.
She was unwell and diagnosed with Lupus and stomach tuberculosis, said a hospital source. Lupus is a medical condition arising from deficiency in immunity which damages healthy tissues. It is learnt that she had spent four days in hospital.
"My wife's illness means I need to be with her and will miss all five events of Jaipur litfest in 2014. I promised to atone in 2015," a tweet by Tharoor at 8.01pm read.
Journalist Vir Sanghvi said on TV he had met her a few weeks ago and the usually bubbly woman was not herself. "...I feel there is something deeper here," he said.

Woman Lives with 15 Different Personalities Who Can Each Take Control at Any Time
In the movies, people suffering from DID are often depicted as dangerous criminals or serial killers. Not Kimi, though. None of her personalities make her do anything terrible. At worst, she and her partner Chris Lee need to buy Christmas presents for all 15, making the holidays more expensive for them.
“Including myself, there are 16 individuals to get presents for,” said Kimi. “These can be anything from alcohol for the older characters to teddies for kids.” That’s right, the personalities all belong to different age groups. Among them are 22-year-old Japanese chef Satou, 17-year-old exercise addict Fiona, and four-year-old twins Jack and Safyer. There’s also a 23-year-old Yorkshire man, Ashy, and a party-loving bisexual, Theodore, aged 15.
“It’s hard,” said Chris. “We’re a couple, but at the same time, we have this internal family. You’ve got to pay for gifts for everyone else. The kids go mental in the toy store and want to buy everything,” he adds. “It’s hilarious because when I’m queuing at the till with My Little Pony figures, people often incorrectly assume that I’m buying presents for my children.” But the couple believe that all the effort and the money spent are worth it.
“Giving presents to everyone is so much fun. The kids are overjoyed and emerge from Kim immediately,” Chris says. “But then it’s very difficult to make one character leave so you can give the next gift to another one.”
I don’t mean to judge, but it must be extremely hard for 24-year-old Chris, Kimi’s partner, to cope with her condition. The couple seems happy, though. He has come to love all of her personas in different ways. Chris said he can have a night out with the boys, take the younger kids to the ‘zoo’, and enjoy romantic moments with Kimi herself. They do preserve a strict policy of no romantic intimacy between Chris and any of the other characters.
“It’s mostly just me with Chris,” Kimi explained. “Although sometimes I allow him to kiss and cuddle Koumi, who is gay. Some of my alter egos are lovingly involved with each other, though. Theo is going out with Finn.”
Kimi said that a problem she faces frequently with her personalities is ‘losing time’. “I lose a lot of time when my alters take over. When I was at school, Ashy attended it in my place regularly. In that time, he got with all of my female friends. When I returned, rumors were going around that I was a lesbian!”
“Teenager Theodore takes advantage of the fact that I have an age identification card and goes out drinking. I’ve lost whole evenings because of him and I wake up the next morning with awful hangovers,” she said.
Kimi’s multiple personas began to develop when she was only three years old, but she was diagnosed with DID at age 20. “You have a lot of compromises to make when you have 15 personalities,” the woman says. “I have to stock my wardrobe with diverse clothes for everyone. The boys would be angry if they had to wear dresses. I also have to make sure that there’s always vegan food in the fridge for Fiona. It’s complicated making sure everyone’s diet is catered for.”
But Kimi tries to stay optimistic about her condition. She doesn’t let it take over her life totally. “Yes, it’s a painful disorder, but there are so many happy bits to having DID,” she said. “I always have company. There is someone by my side all the time.”
Kimi is a part-time artist and dedicates most of her time educating people about the disorder. She wants to put up YouTube videos of her various characters, to show people that DID doesn’t necessarily make her an axe-murderer.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan takes Aaradhya Bachchan out to a Kids’ Park
Aaradhya Bachchan didn’t seem too excited and stuck to her mother’s lap despite a lot of fun games around her. The mother-daughter duo was spotted bonding with a family that had a son about Aaradhya’s age.
Finally the shy Aaradhya Bachchan stepped out of Aishwarya Rai’s lap and joined in the fun and frolic.
The little one has been Aishwarya’s top priority ever since her birth on November 16, 2011. So much so that Ash has put on the backburner her acting career just to be around Aaradhya in her growing up years.
Whenever Aishwarya Rai goes abroad, Aaradhya convoys her. Recently, the duo was spotted at the airport arriving from a vacation in Dubai (see photos here).

Hrithik Roshan Announces Divorce From Wife Sussanne
They are Bollywood’s golden couple or should we say they 'were'. Who would have thought that the blissfully married Hrithik Roshan and Sussanne would get a divorce? Married in 2000, Hrithik and Sussanne have one of the most stunning love stories Bollywood has ever seen.
The dazzling couple met in the filmiest way possible. Hrithik set his eyes on the beautiful Sussanne at a traffic signal and it was love at first sight for him. He asked her out on Valentine’s Day and they have been a couple ever since. Hrithik even went down on one knee at Mumbai’s Juhu beach to propose to Sussanne. All of this happened before Hrithik was a superstar and the nation’s heartthrob. Sigh! On a chat show, Hrithik even admitted that he had seen Sussanne play in their building compound and was infatuated with her ever since he was 12 years old.
But alas, all of this has come to an end! Though the reason is not clear, we hear that supposedly Sussanne was bored of her husband of 13 years who was too busy working and obsessing over his good looks. Some say that Sussanne’s growing closeness to actor Arjun Rampal was the final nail in the coffin. Another reason cited by the rumour mills is the growing friction between Sussanne and Pinky Roshan (Hrithik’s mother). Sussanne wanted to move out of the house they shared with the in-laws, whereas Hrithik was not sure about that.
Both Hrithik and Sussanne have released statements to the media saying that the decision is mutual. Hrithik who is out of the country now also updated his status on Facebook saying that Sussanne is and always will be the love of his life.
"Sussanne has decided to separate from me and end our 17 year relationship. This is a very trying time for the entire family and I request the media and the people to grant us our privacy at this time," revealed the Bollywood star.
"I do not wish this news to disempower my fans and the people about the institution of marriage in any way. I am a firm believer in this institution and respect and honour it at the highest level," he added.
He updated on his Facebook as "This is my greatest tribute to love. Sussanne is and always will be the love of my life for the rest of my life. If her smiles are brighter without me my love for her must accomplish that. Unconditional. "
We are keeping our fingers crossed and hoping against hope that the couple reunites.
